2017 Celebrity Dinner
The JCHS Music Dept “CELEBRITY DINNER” is set for Friday, April 21st! This year’s theme is “NIGHT AT THE MOVIES” and we hope everyone will have a great time!
As many of you know from attending in the past, despite the formal sounding name, the “Celebrity Dinner” is a casual evening full of fun and great entertainment (Chorale, Concert Choir, Simonsen Singers, J-City Riot, Tonal Uproar). Guests must have a reserved seat ($25/each). Doors will open at 6:30pm, a delicious dinner will be served to tables beginning at 7:00pm, and a dessert auction will follow dinner.
To make the evening a success, the JCHS Music Dept needs as many students, parents, and community members to be involved as possible! Here’s what you can do:

1 - HOST A TABLE (be a “Celebrity Waiter”)
Commit to hosting a table and selling ~8 seats. (Round tables seat 7-9 adults, and long tables can seat more.) Invite your friends, family members, colleagues, neighbors, or other group to come have fun with you for the evening! Best of all, the host’s seat is FREE.
Hosts are encouraged to choose a specific movie for their table and decorate accordingly (sorry, “Star Wars” is already taken!), and/or play along with the theme in other ways. Have fun with it - in the past, hosts have had guests dress up, made silly table favors, or even walked on their hands for tips!
NOTE: Hosts (aka “celebrity waiters”) do not actually have to wait on tables. Student servers will be assigned to each table. We want hosts to enjoy spending time with their guests!

3 - BRING A DESSERT
We are looking for some amateur chefs to donate desserts to our Dessert Auction. (Check out the 2015 Dessert List for some ideas!) Your dessert would need to be brought to the Primary School by 5:30pm the night of the event, and be in packaging you don’t need returned.

4 - HELP PLAN, PREP, or CLEAN UP
Some adult and student helpers are needed to plan some activities, help decorate, prep in the kitchen, man the welcome area, serve the tables, and clean up after the event.
